Surely not?! Listening to Barry Green's HVX Bootcamp DVD, I think I heard something about this ( he only talks about it for a few seconds though, and then moves on to the next topic ). The HPX170 / HVX200 don't have a 4 pin XLR power input, but is there any adaptor that can enable this?
I've got two motobike batteries with 4 pin XLR connectors that work well with my LED light panels and I'd like to know if I can use them for the HVX / HPX camera.
I'm sure I could probably get 5 hours out of them instead of the 3 I currently get from my CGA-D54s.

Thanks Barry, that Dolgin Power converter looks good.
Would it work for both HVX200 and the HPX170?
The HPX170 doesn't seem to have the DC IN they show in their diagram...

Was there also a similar adaptor to have the HPX run on V-lock / Anton Bauer batteries? Sorry, I will be doing outdoors timelapse soon, and need something that would run for 5 to 10 hours straight.

There was an Anton Bauer Gold mount made for the HVX200. This might be it:

There's also the Anton Bauer Elipz battery, I don't know how long that would last on an HPX170, but with 75 watt-hours, and a power draw of about 12 watts, you should be able to get about six hours out of an Elipz.

Best to send a PM to "adolgin", he's a member of this board and could answer any and all questions about his products.

I would certainly think it would work for both, as it uses the camera's charger battery plate...
