XLR port covers

yeah. My top XLR cap keeps liberating itself. 12$ is a bit much. I'm thinking of making a mold off of the second one and making some back ups for replacement..
I get a little paranoid about any exposed areas on a camera and when dealing with sand, sawdust whatever I'd rather have the option of caps.

Ya. For sure, when shooting outside, or in dusty areas, if I don't have both the XLR ports filled, I'd stick the cap on.

Y'all do know that those jacks aren't proprietary to Panasonic, right? Look for chassis-mount XLR covers (male, most likely). Probably less than a dollar each.

I found something that most of the camera without an XLR cover can use. I have them on my canon XHA1. keeps the dust out.
