What a killer rig. I need...all of that...

I asked the same question already regarding the Firestore. He said he got it for 800...but the website lists the 40GB @ $599 and the the 80GB PRO @ $1199. Gulp Double Gulp

So what's up?

Wow nice set up. I see you mentioned the HVX, would you wait on Canon for a HD set up?

kprince (or anyone), nice rig (needless to say). I too have an XL2 and took delivery of a FS-4 this week (standard 40gig - non pro). Has anyone experienced compatability issues with the FS-4 and the XL2? Cant sync the two to allow me to operate the FS-4 from the camera (tapeless) and am even having trouble using the FS-4 manually (from the device - tape counter doesn't change from '0').

Both excellent products I am sure - just me experiencing some teething problems which are sending me batty. Any suggestions would be helpful.
