I'm trying to set up FCP 6 to import XDCAM EX footage. I've insalled several different versions of XDCAM transfer and every time I try to import the footage I get a dialog that says "requires a version 7 database but this is a version 9 database."
I have also installed XDCAM browser and it can see the EX footage with no problem, but Final Cut does not.
Does anyone know how to remedy this problem or what is the correct version of XDCAM transfer for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
