We are shooting a documentary with 2 cameras. Camera A is a sony xdcam HD pdw 330 recording 1440 x 1080 25p footage. The camera B is an EX 3 recording 1920x1080 25p.
We are editing in FCP 7. Because of the 2 cameras we would like to use multi cam to syncronise the clips but, because of the different resolution and codecs FCP cant do that.
We dont want to spend HDD space and time to convert all the footage for the same size proress HQ, we are looking for smart solution.
In clip browser there is a codec what does mxf from the Ex3's mp4 in 1440x1080 size and that is working well with multi cam in FCP but It puts a big watermark on the frame.
Are there any free option to solve that problem?
