XDCAM CODEC Question????

Will footage from JVC HM100 work with EX1 on the same time line? Assume we use the same setting for both cam (bit rate, resolution and frame rate). FCP is my tools of choice.
 
Assuming that with the HM100 you record in its Quicktime mode and with your EX1 you use Transfer to re-wrap to MOV, then, in theory, FCP would happily mix the two without any problems.

Having said that there are a lot of assumptions there and Mac's have a tendency to throw assumptions back in your face...
