Thanks mate. I was one of three shooting on it and the others had an FS700 with 7Q, a Blackmagic Cinema Camera, a 5Dmk3 and several GoPros. I had a couple of A7s shots and some very short timelapses on it too, although to be honest it was way too windy for that sort of thing.

I'm not involved in post on these videos so will be interested to see how well everything matches and compliments each other.
 
That contax 28-85 is a nice lens (not to diminish the talent behind the camera). Looks practically macro on the gauges. What is the minimum distance? I've debated it but have never used a push/pull zoom before which has been my hesitation.
 
0.6m from the sensor I believe which isn't bad.

I really much prefer shooting with primes but for stuff like this where you're not 1000% controlling what is going to be happening and you need to move and frame quickly then there's no option but a zoom and the 28-85 is sharp enough to be used as a variable prime. Technically it's not constant aperture but it's really so slight (less than the reported half stop shift) that you'd never know it wasn't.



Forgot to say the interior of the start button is the Contax Zeiss 35mm f1.4 :)


EDIT: And the Guages was the 80-200 shot from the open boot of the car. Sorry for any confusion!
