Xbox 360 vs hvx200

Dunno...the Xbox isn't arriving in Europe until Feb-March time - we always get things late! :angry: ...

....oh, apart from the Sega Dreamcast that had that funny split screen effect on certain games...

I'm very concerned about the Xbox 360, tough. Apparently, you have to buy two patented xbox formated discs for almost the price of the machine itself in order to play their HD games... And forget FMV, since there's a memory limit of 16gb for the package ... However, I heard they are planning an universal adaptor that can make bigger hd games fit in one package (100gb?), but it is only coming in March... And, seing the past succes of add ons such as the beautiful Mega-cd for the Genesis, this doesn't look good!
 
yeah, those x-discs are really pricy...
Why not just get the PS3? .. it uses it's own version of the CGC (compressed-game-disc) system, it allows you to get 3 full games on a disc, provided you dont' scratch it or it will delete entire levels - many minutes of gameplay - from the disc. It doesn't do 720p or 1080p.. but it has a special "CG" (computer gamme) effect that will jitter up the game to make it more x-box like.
The PS3 is cheaper too.. and i'v heard that you can switch it between left and right handed controller mode from the menu, jsut change it and it reboots in teh other mode.
Then there's the Nintendo.. it's a proper console liek box that fits nicly under yoru TV, and it has real interchangeable 3D cards.. but i've heard that they make the picture shift colors slgihtly as you change resolution, and there's a priblem with split screen mode that some units have.

i think the xbox will be the better choice, with the hvx, you can dump the footage inbetween shots, but with the xbox, you can dump footage and play your AD in doom or halo or whatever the hell game the xbox has...

Actually it has only one native pixel, but they gonna use a new spin technology that can artificaly create 1 060 000 000 pixels / min
 
Hey i'm having touble with my P2 cards.. i took them out and shook them, then I tried blowing into the conenctor end.. it dind't help.
