Here's a simple a simple app I created for OSX that does drag & drop conversion of MP4s into MOVs with no transcoding: http://brightland.com/w/mp4tomov-for-osx/ . After installation, you can drag and drop files or directories for conversion: runs about as fast as copying files.

Is there a windows version like that? This ffmpeg way over my head. Though i think i got to do it and it seems to be the same performance for me or i couldve made an error

Hi dcloud- I'll create a Windows version as soon as I finish the A7S color and skintone guide. When using Resolve, the performance could be the same, with the exception that the .mov version provides audio. If audio isn't needed, mp4's work fine in Resolve.
