This is quite interested, just appeared on my mac updates on one of my new machines I'm testing.

Installing now and will see what happens.

Hey Dennis - yes, I've seen this released a week or so ago but havent been able to update my iMac while in the midst of long form project... fyi - FCPX, since I believe v 10.2 has been able to import Sony XDCAM & XAVC w/o any additional plug in

Silly and stupid me, I installed FCP x and the message appeared a bit later.

Maybe this was just the changes in FCP X made recently to support XAVC / XDCAM because even after update my QT won't play XAVC or XDCAM.

Wondering if this update is also available for FCP v7, which is what I have with ZERO plans for FCPx. New iMovie is kind of FCPx lite, IMHO!
