FS7: XAVC I as a storage codec?

Im looking for a good and viable storage codec for us Windows users that doesnt have Prores.

DNxHD is good for images, but it destroys the sound designers audio files and when reading online, it seems alot of others also have problems with using DNxHD with 32 bit audio.

How is exporting to XAVC-Intra from Premiere Pro? Is it 10-bit with Prores like bitrate?

http://www.xavc-info.org/xavc/share/data/XAVC_Profiles_and_OperatingPoints_110.pdf

According to this it is. So is anyone else having luck using XAVC as a Prores substitute?

Huh?

Most theatrical features are edited In Avid so DNxHD/HR is a standard in high end workflows. Audio for those features is almost always mixed in Pro Tools which accepts DNxHD/HR. Delivery audio is normally 24 bit these days so archive in that bitrate.

Admittadly I am on Macs, but I have never heard of that 32 bit issue.

Take it EZ,

I have switched to Cineform. It is well supported across Mac and Windows platforms and multiple post applications. It is a modern wavelet codec similar to JPEG2000. Install the free GoPro app to get the codecs on your system. The app will only import GoPro footage or Cineform files.
Resolve reads and writes it in 10 bit 4:2:2 YUV, or 16 bit RGB, what the GoPro app calls filmscan2, a very high quality archive format. I know Premiere reads Cineform, but don't know if it exports it.
I've exported XAVC-I 10 bit 4:2:2 200mbps from Lightworks with good results, but I like Cineform better for a DI codec.
