X-Men 3

I'm looking forward to this. The first two I really liked. Trailer looks solid. One of the few comic book based movies that were any good IMO.

Well, actually they don't...

It could be Xavier... or Storm... or maybe it's Jean's funeral that takes place right where the 2nd movie ends. Of course I might be missing something, but it didn't seem obvious to me.

ok if anyone is here that doesnt want to see possible spoilers do not read the rest of this post.

watch the trailer again. there are only a few people not present... so they sorta gave away some stuff but not the whole mystery...

Like I said, they didn't make it "blazingly obvious"... There are at least 4 people missing at the funeral.

right. i know but they narrow it down a lot with the funeral shot... not blazingly obvious no but its hinting at some things.

It looks really good, I will put it on my short list. a little darker than prior x-men films, which is cool.

The more I see, the less I want to see it. Its style is all over the place. Doesn't look or feel like its siblings, which is a bad thing to me.

Just not grabbing me or exciting me the way early footage from the previous films did. * Sigh * and that disappoints me.

i thought the new trailer was pretty cool. it showed A LOT yes, but it got me more excited for the movie. I'm seeing this opening day definatley.

i've been an X-Men fan since I was a kid. I used to watch the cartoon and I've seen every episode. I used to have all of the action figures as well (I've still got them but they're boxed up and I don't do anything wit them. Although I just got a new Gambit figure that I have displayed on my dresser next to the Empire State Building.) The first X-Men was great, I loved it. X2 probably my favorite super hero movie. X3? I don't like Brett Ratner but its still the X-Men... I will always be a fan.

I can't wait for the Wolverine spinoff, Magneto Prequel and the X-Men movie that will tell more about the younger X-Men.

Countin' down the days till May 26th.

Yeah Ill always be an X Men fan too. But I don't have much faith in this movie. It doesn't have the coolness that Singer's did. Even the trailers are lacking. Yeah the new one showed more, but I didn't get a single goose bump. Felt very by the numbers...very Brett Ratner.

yeah i wish singer was still directing as well. i got goosebumps when

SPOILERS FOLLOW

Jean says "Please, kill me" and when Wolverine was saying "you might not come home she may not come home, are you ready for that?"

but i get where you're coming from though, I'm not jumping on your opinion by any means.

I don't see how you can. It's my opinion. ;-) There's nothing you can say to make me feel the same way you do about X-3. It just isn't doing it for me, which is sad because I saw the first two in the theatres three times a piece. I think Fox made a huge mistake going without Singer number one, but going with Ratner number two. This movie just feels wrong. Its like an imitation for lack of a better word. Going through the motions while playing dress up.

I'm still going to see it, because I am a geek boy fan, but I really don't think its going to be in the same league as Singer's two.

I get this sinking feeling that X-men 3 will be another reason to add to the list of why I can't stand Brett Ratner.
