Well, I made it to California from DC. Left on 2 June and arrived on base 8 June.

These are a few grabs from the DVX. Some are good, some are for family.

Terry -- Yeah, me and the Pony (mustang). I only wish I could have had a few more days. I saw "quickly" -- too quickly. I did a "Croc Hunter" type approach to filming across the country. With sunglasses on it made it easy to read the posted signs next to the sights and still look like I was looking into the camera!! Should make for a good video for my kids. I'll whip it out (oops) here in the next few days and send it along to them.

The colors are beautiful man, really nice saturation. Did you fix these up in post any? Were you using a polarizer?

Nope. No post fix nor a polarizer. Just UV and heck of a lot of good luck. I used the 5.3 WB preset most of the time for the outdoor stuff. Some of the early shots (pre Estes Park) were done with a white card. Other than that, just a UV filter and the 1/64 ND.
