I bought a steadicam JR from a guy on craigslist and honestly, I don't think it is all that ideal for the DSLR route. I mean it can balance and I suppose it does fine but I really don't have the desire to work with it long enough or the time to get comfortable with it before I start shooting in Jan.
I have used a Glidecam in the past. I actually liked it a bit better but maybe that is because I had someone walk me thru the setup of it. Anyway, I will try to get some pics this evening for you guys, but it will come with the LCD screen and a small carrying bag with it.
I suppose I will sell it. I have seen a few go for right around $350 on ebay so it would actually be somewhat more profitable for me to trade for something else that I need for my production such as lenses or a follow focus.
Looking for either the Sigma 30mm 1.4 or Tamron 17-50mm for my 7d.
