If you have a standard def monitor you are looking to get rid of (upgrading to HD maybe?) let me know. I need a SD monitor for a DIY shoulder rig I am putting together. Looking to spend approx. $150 (more if more than one battery) plus S&H.

Must have at least one rechargeable battery included and all parts.

Have a 7.2 inch Varizoom Kit with battery for sale here in the Marketplace section. More than the $150 however. Barely used at all and like new.

More than the $150 however.
And that's the problem. If my budget was double I have no trouble finding 16:9 screens in the $300-350 range, not that I need anything more than 4:3 for my DVX100. However there is no way I can spend that much.

If I had a big budget I'd be buying a RedRock shoulder mount instead of putting together a DIY!

Thanks. The good news is I'm not in a hurry. The shoot I hoped I'd be doing May 9 looks like it fell through.

Still, I don't want to wait until the last moment. So when I find the right monitor I'll buy it, ready for the next time I need it.

And who knows? Maybe I'll find some money to spare to buy a bigger monitor that is HD ready for the day I make that leap.

I have the Varizoom 5.6" monitor in perfect shape. It includes everything but just has the 1 battery. I bought it but have never used it other than just testing it with my camera set up.
