[WTB] WTB: Tentacle Sync E

I have three of these and love them and I need a fourth. Tentacle is still going to introduce the recorder version, the Tentacle Track E any minute,
their website says Q2 so the value on the Sync E's is going to plummet because who wouldn't rather have one with a TC recorder built in?
A new Tentacle Sync E is $229.00, looking for a clean, used one with all of the accessories and a healthy
battery in the $150.00 range.

LMK if you have one to sell.

I've been watching their website for updates on the E recorder. BH had early June listed as the release date for a while but took it down. I emailed Tentacle and they said early July which technically is in Q3...

Dan, as far as I can tell, while the Tentacle Sync Track E recorder can receive timecode, it can't output it to another device. So unless the design has changed since IBC last fall (and it might have), I think it won't replace the Sync E boxes. Or has the feature set changed? (Or did I miss something?).

Hope you find what you're looking for!

No idea, the actual specs and specifics about how the Tentacle Track E will work are a mystery. We know it will be an audio recorder that can at least receive timecode via Bluetooth or Wi Fi from a Sync E.
From what I recall from the intro buzz last year when it was announced was that it looked to be a Sync E that records?

For my needs, which are fairly unusual, we shoot most of our live streams with 3-4 Fujifilm X-T3s. Almost all live streaming is in 1080 these days but in the meantime, part of our value equation to our clients is
that we internally ISO record every live stream in UHD 10-bit H.265 for use in other projects. It would obviously be much higher quality than the 6-7Mbps we are recording the live stream at. I need a way to sync three
X-T3s with our Sound Devices Mix Pre so I need one to feed the Mix Pre and one for each camera. I only have three of them. So the Track E, while super cool, isn't really needed in our workflow, I just want to find a good
deal on a slightly used Sync E.

Understandable in the era of Pandemic.
