WTB Telephoto lens fro 100b

Here's what I'm doing: I'm an editor but am doing more shooting all the time. I'm currently documenting the season for a local sports team and I need to get close-ups. The regular lens on my 100b just isn't cutting it. I don't need an expensive piece of glass. I also don't know that much about lenses...

Hence, part 2: I need a telephoto lens that will fit my 100b. I want to buy the lens, open the box, and have everything there that I need to attach the lens to the camera and get back to work. I understand that my camera doesn't have a removable lens and I also understand there are different ways to attach the telephoto lens to the camera.

I bought a 72MM screw on lens from eBay.

Along those lines, while I understand what a bayonet mount is, I haven't actually seen nor do I understand how one attaches to my 100b.. Is an adaptor involved? Are they sold somewhere? Sometimes the simplest things seem confusing until you actually get a look at them...

Just rereaad your post. yeah it should just screw onto the front of your camera.

You can buy a lens that just screws onto your camera that is like a 1.6x or 2.0x. I have the century optics 2x for my HVX200 and it works great. I have use the 1.6 on the 100b and I would have liked to have a 2x for that camera. It cost about 1200 but worth every penny.
