Other: WTB: Sony F3 baseplate

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a 15mm LWS baseplate for the old Sony F3. Pretty much anything will do, so long as it takes 15mm rods, and has holes on the bottom for a tripod plate or bridgeplate.

If you've got something/anything sitting on the shelf gathering dust, please let me know.

What do you mean by an LWS baseplate?

I have one of these though it looks like a slightly older version:

LWS means Light Weight Support, if this is what you asked. 15mm rods spaced 60mm apart . Or basically your normal small camera rod set up.

At least for the F3 it will be way cheaper than for the old Alexa. Everything for the iron dinosaur costs an arm and a leg.

as part of building a mini compact hand-held solution for my F3 w/mini-propmter.



It really depends what you need/want/etc.
Normally I use a Crosziel LWS, but it was $$$ and I wanted this to be a standalone rig and not require me to remember other parts.

There are lighter and cheaper ones as well which might serve your needs.

Thanks guys, by some stroke of luck I somehow managed to find an old Element Technica baseplate setup through Adorama, so I'm all good now.
