I'm not in film production, but am assembling interviews for broadcast. I'm looking for a used Sound DEvices 702. It does not need the Time feature. From what I understand, some film people start with the 702 and then move onto the 744 or 788. I only need two channels. New units are $1875 most everywhere. I'm looking for a unit for 30% to 35% off the new price. Over at Red User, I've seen two units (both now sold) in the past two months whose asking price was slightly over 30% off. Right around 32% off.
So if you have a 702 you'd like to sell, drop me a note. I'm in the LA area. But shipping is OK as well.
