Two things going for the NTG2: great price and a sweet sound. I picked up an entire kit (internal cable boom pole, shock mount, softie etc.) through B&H, or you can buy the mic and other items a la carte for pretty reasonable prices.
 
i have a ntg2 with sm3 shockmount, how much are you looking to spend? purchased about 6 months ago, dont really use it too much.
