WTB Pro Tripod

Im looking for a professional tripod. If anyone has an extra one or if they are looking to get rid of one. I work for a non profit, have some funds for a good tripod, brand new is just way to expensive. thanks

It'd probably be helpful if you gave some sort of pricerange or a general type.

Are you talking "professional" in the sense of event videography, with something like a Bogen 501 or 503 head, or something really more professional, like a Cartoni or Miller or somesuch?

The former shows up here pretty often. The latter not as often.

i heard that the bogen 501 sticks, so probably something like a 503 would be better, unless that sticks too. thanks for the help. i want to be clear as possible

Since they seldom come up here, you can get a brand new Bogen 503 with reasonable legs and nice case for $500 on ebay. Unless someone here is upgrading, you seldom see sticks and heads for sale here. But if you're *really* patient...
