I am getting a 35mm adapter with a Nikon lens mount, but I need some Nikon lenses. Please PM me if you have some lenses you want to sell. Thanks.

Just so you know, you could buy something like Tamron which for what you're doing with it, you're not going to see any difference. They cost less than newer nikon lens unless you want some old nikon stuff.

Check on ebay..tons of lens.

Angrius,
It seems everyone nowadays has an adapter cuz the Nikon fast lenses are expensive on ebay. Some are being sold for the price of an adapter itself.

Is the Tamron a Nikon fit and did you say you will not see any difference?
I mean, as long as it is sharp, then Tamron should be the way to go, besides, CC is still going to be implemented on shots anyways.

Give us more 411 on the Tamron please?

Okay here is the 411...

The price difference you are seeing in lens are usually determined by a few things.
-the range. Is it a 50mm? a 105mm? maybe a fisheye? They all have different costs. Now take those same lens..let's say a 105mm. What is the F stop on it? 2.8? Maybe a 4.5? The higher the number, the cheaper the lens in general. The lower the number, the higher the cost but you are getting in more light.

The last thing is that some lens are made for digital cameras.

So does it matter what you get as far as the glass quality goes? Not really. You're not blowing this up that big probably so get a nikon, cannon, tamron or sigma or whatever you desire.

Search out ebay. Get a Nikon E series 50mm 1.4F for about 50 bucks and be happy.
If you want a bigger range and can't afford a nikon or canon, try a tamron..it'll do the job just fine.

Remember one thing...the lower number F stop on the lens the better!

One more thing. Make sure you get some good pictures of both ends of the lens if you're buying from ebay.

Good luck.

This may be a stupid question, but I have never used a 35mm adapter before. Do certain SLR lenses have back focus or is that out the window? How can I tell if an SLR lens has a solid back focus?
