Not sure if it's me, but I've tried twice in the last two years to deal with this sound room place and they just don't return phone calls or emails. Anyone have this experience with these guys ?

I bought from Sound Room in January and a few days after I placed my order they sent me an e-mail saying they were out of stock and I'd have to wait 3 more weeks. I was pissed, so I wrote them a nasty e-mail saying how scammy they were and need to keep info like that current on their webpage. (I was in a bad mood) The guy wrote me back and apologized saying it was a small 2 person operation, not guitar center. I felt like a jerk, but the mics arrived on time for the postponed arrival date and work fine.
 
Ok I've finally got one email back and just tried to call today, no answer !! Sounds like the sound room needs to hire some people. I guess I'm going to B&H photo....


Not unless someone here has a good mic for sale ?
 
I bought a MK012 from the sound room guys in May. I was and am very happy with the service and the product. It did take them a few days to answer my first email, but it wasn't a big problem. After that they were very good about getting back to me, even returning my calls. If you call, leave a message. If you send an email, leave them your number. I recommend buying from them. And the mic is great.

What's the difference between the black Oktava MK012 and the film addition black Oktava MK012 or are they the same mic.?

I have purchased my oktava from the Sound Room and had an excellent experience. Only thing was the guy had to ship a special order suspension that I wanted and he forgot after a week. I called him back and he shipped it right out. I would buy from him again, very nice.
 
Just wanted to clarify that Paul at the sound room is a extremely nice guy and very helpful so far. I'm waiting for my mic now...
