Hi all,
I'm looking to upgrade tripod setups, preferably to one with a newer 501HDV head - I've heard mostly good things about them.
As for legs, I'm not sure what to look for because I don't have much experience with them. Post what's out there and I guess we'll see what I get.
Overall the setup shouldn't be too terrible heavy - I'll be using it while skiing, too, so it should be somewhat portable.
Right now I use a 701HDV/190XDB legs, and while they've worked fine for me thus far, I have a RedRock to account for and I think something beefier is necessary. I film with a DVX100b. If anyone has any other recommendations or comments, please give me your input.
