I'm just so tired of dealing with scammers on craigslist and eBay... 
I'm looking for a low hours DVC30 or similar in the San Diego or Los Angeles area. I'd like to be able to drive up and test it out before purchase. Looking to spend $1300 for a DVC30 (or a bit more depending on extras).
I'm shooting both music instructional videos as well as traditional Irish sessions in pubs, so low light and XLR capability is one of my primary considerations. The DVC30 seems like a reasonable compromise of small size, lower price, and acceptable low light.
My end product is in SD, but I'd consider an HDV unit.
At this point, I'd be willing to consider any low-hours decent low light camera, either HDV or DV, as long as its well taken care of and within 100 miles of San Diego. Other cameras I've considered: PD170, DVX100B, FX1, VX2100
