[WTB] WTB: KiPro Mini

Good luck finding a used one. They just came out.
In speaking with AJA last night, they are way behind demand but AJA is ramping up production to try and catch up.
If you are ready to buy now, call AJA and they can tell you who you can get one from -maybe.
Also, same advice I gave someone else, be sure you understand what it does and that the "approved" cards are over $400 (srp) for 32GB (36min proress422 HQ).

I love the KiPro and the mini but it has to fit your needs. Also, one thing most people dont understand is that ProRes doesnt have a "container" so the KiPro cannot auto-switch from card A to card B, it will stop and requires you actively switch cards and hit record again. There is also a level of reserve space it locks out from your use, think of it as a buffer.

Thanks...I know all about the KiPro pros and cons. However, I love my regular one so much that I want a mini! ;-)

Awesome. There are a lot folks that think the KiPro is the magic bullet, when it will work great for some and not so great for others. Glad to hear you know what you are getting [into]. Good Luck in your quest.
