Well, it appears that I have been given the green light to buy another HVX for our marketing team. I cannot buy any accessories at this time, it has to be only the camera (messing with state funds and very strict buy policy). What is the going rate for just the camera now? I know it depends on condition, cards, etc but just a ballpark idea on a used HVX200?

i have an HVX with 2 8 gig P2's I need to sell. Is in almost new condition. Only 51 hours of use on the P2 cards. 0 hours on the heads. Kept in hard case when not used. Used about 1/3 to half the time of the 51 hours in helping test another forum members 35mm adapter he developed and is manufacturing. Not really sure on price I need to get out of it yet. Would like to sell to a good home to be used well for a reasonable price. $4K maybe? Let me know. I'll look around in the meantime.

If you can go and see it and verify that he's legitimate, I'd snag that in a heartbeat. That's less than 1/2 of what it's worth. Personally, I'd be skeptical...but like you said, if he's not too far from you and you can go and see the items and verify that it's legitimate you'll be getting one hell of a deal.
