WTB: HVX w/ extras.

I am looking to buy an HVX in the next few days and B&H is the default. I would rather buy a young used HVX and get some extras than pay full new.

As for how much I'm looking to spend.... $5200 on a NEW, WARRANTIED HVX w/ 16G P2.


Or..... $5200 on ........ ???????

spec-comm (advertised on this site) is selling new hvx200s with extra battery and 16gb p2 card for 5300, if you pay with a check you get 2% off, so it's about 5200
 
I'm selling mine, from Switzerland, 6 months old USED 20 HOURS ONLY, with 16GB P2, MINT condition, perfect, no dust, no scratches, no hurts, no humidity, always kept in Pelican case, simply as NEW, warranty to july 2008, i sell for $4800 + shipping.

I have a practically new HVX on sale on the marketplace. It has 3 hours on the heads and probably 60 total use. It has never left the studio, never dropped, no scratches. Comes with all original accesories, plus 8gig P2 card, plus BG book and Cd, plus B+W multi-reflevtive-coating filter, plus free shipping and paypal for $4000. I have sold alot of stuff on the boards here. We are doing some major studio revamping based on new projects over the next year for European broadcast.

I don't know what extras you're looking for but I'm offering a barely used HVX (bought from B&H) and a FS-100/160 for 6500. Comes with 8 gig P2 and 8 ft. RGB. Camera has 2 hours and FS-100 is new. Also has the $700 battery/software package.

B&H retails it for 7300.

Unfortunately, the $5200 +shipping B&H price is my limit. Your kit sounds great, but the firestore puts it out of reach. I just noticed another one still for sale on the boards.

As for what I am looking for.... HVX, maybe a couple extra batteries, maybe a couple P2s - I had over 100 tapes on my last project (DVX). I want tapeless this time. Maybe a Mattebox.

If I found an HVX w/ P2 for $4000-4500 and then get a Redrock....

I bought all my equipment new last time, and if I bought gently used stuff I could have increased my equipment purchases by 25%. I'd like to reverse that mistake this time.

However, if I dont find what I'm looking for, I'll just order from B&H.

Thanks for pointing out your sale. I'll let you know what I come up with.
