Anyone with a FCS2 box they have sitting around that's unregistered that they want to get rid of?

I just bought a new camera, so I don't have a lot of money. :)

be careful. a lot of dumb (or unscrupulous) folks might try to sell you their old software. but unless they release and transfer the license. you cant register it...
and i can't imagine anyone other than a big corporation that will have an unused serial number just laying around...
 
You can always try a friend, this is going to be hard to come by. I'm probably going to sell my FCP 4.5 suite, but haven't done any research to see how much it's worth. PM me if interested.

I can't imagine it either, but thought it might be worth a shot.

You don't happen to know the process for transferring a license? I could google it, but I'm already typing in this window. ;)
