WTB Final Cut Pro or Production Suite for upgrades

Hey all,
Just recently switched to the mac world (So far it's pretty decent). Just couldn't fight against all of the ram and processor speed of dual quads.

Anyway, My brother had an old copy of FCP 3.1 that he said I could use to save a few bucks to upgrade to the latest Final Cut Studio. Problem is, now he realizes it was academic. He has a copy of Final Cut Studio 1 but apparently that upgrade path is completely different and can't be done with my discs.

So, I need an old copy of Final Cut Pro to use the serial number for the upgrade. I'm looking for legitimate copies, something that's not currently on your system (Thus I'm not going through Ebay). I'll pay for the software through paypal and then ask you to ship me the software but would also like it if you could email me the serial once I've paid for it so I can get to work.

Anyway, any takers? If this is illegal in some way please let me know but I can't imagine how so long as you don't just copy the discs and print on them.

Thanks a bunch.

John

According to the Apple store any of these should work:
Upgrade from Production Suite or Final Cut Pro 1, 2, 3, 4, HD, or 5*

They CAN NOT BE ACADEMIC!

Thanks a bunch.
