WTB: DVX100B or A

Well, it seems like no authorized dealer in the world is carrying the DVX100B anymore, so I was wondering if there was anyone out there in DVXuser land with a camera they'd like to share.

Basically I'm looking for a DVX100B or A that hasn't been used greatly. >100 hours would be ideal, but 150-200 or so wouldn't be terrible.

I'd be willing to spend around $1800 for a used 100A, and $2000 for a 100B...

Anyone out there with a camera to sell?

If someone has a pristine conditioned 100B they're trying to get rid of, I'd even pay up to $2300-2400 or so.
 
Every authorized dealer is still carrying it. Apparently the stock dwindled down right before the price slash hit; inventories should be back in stock shortly. New 100Bs should be in the range of about $2650 or so. Have you checked with all the usual suspects (Spec-Comm, B&H, Abel, Roscor, Lerro, CineQuipt, AVSupply, Full Compass, Samy's, EVS, etc)?
 
Oh, well I know they're all carrying it, but I don't want to wait 6-8 weeks to get one on backorder...

I guess "carrying" wasn't the best term. But, I'm hoping to be able to have a camera in my hands by mid-May. If B&H can get me a camera by then I'd be happy as a clam, but it doesn't sound like it's very easy to get a camera from anywhere right now.

I could be totally wrong and incorrect. Maybe I'm being impatient?

Hmm.. Spec-Comm seems to have it in stock. Gee.

Oh well, I guess I'll keep this here in case someone with a good deal comes buy.
 
I have the same issue. If its not "out of stock" you get "call for availibility".

Yes, you and I are both impatient. We are from the same "instant gratification/ship me my camera" generation.

I was in ny today on business and i got a chance to stop at B&H and I for 1. was blown away by this enormous toy store made for me and 2. they had everything but my DVX100b they did have two used ones in stock @ $2450 - $2700 with tax 90 day warranty and they had 0 hours but when I looked over the units they had this look that they have been played with for a long, long time they also had a Dvx100 for $2000.00 so i guessed at those prices I could just wait for a new one. I mean $200 for a sealed product seems worth my wild........ Please someone tell me I didn't make a mistake :huh:
