I've got one, it's on ebay right now, with a bunch of other stuff, if you want to wait until the auction ends(it's not doing much of anything) I would be happy to make arrangements with you.

I bought it from EVS in June or July, so there's about 7-8 months left on the warranty. It is in great physical shape, and everything about the camera internally, functions properly. There are only 16 hours on the heads. I would like to get 3000.00 for it. Let me know what you think.

I've seen your eBay auction. To be honest, you'll probably get a pretty good price on there. People seem to like bidding up the price at the last second.

Ultimately, I'd like to spend less than $3000 as that's pretty close to new. I'm willing to sacrifice a few hours on the head to save a little money. Perhaps I'm living in fantasy land. No wait, things would be much nicer if I were in fantasy land.

Is 3,000.00 too much? I'm starting to wonder. Everyone seems to run away whenever I mention that.

What is a reasonable price to you? For a camera that is about five months old, has a manufacturer warranty, well 8 months of one. Has 16 hours on the heads.

I'm starting to get discouraged, maybe I am asking for too much.

The problem with ebay is that they see the other grey market dealers and say if I can get a brand new one for 2900.00-3000.00 why would I buy your used camera for the same price.

Anyone feel free to chime in on this, am I asking too much?

I'm not sure I'd say you're asking too much for what the camera is; it just might be a bit too much for me at this given moment. But I'll keep an eye on your auction and if you don't sell, we can definitely talk.

Only MY opinion but if I was about to spend 3 grand on a camera I would prefer to spend the extra 300 to get a brand spanking new one. Even though yours is pretty much new, it's not.

How much for an "as new" DVX? - I can't say for sure but I've seen them at 2400 or less. Again just my opinion.

I am selling my DVX100A. It's practically like new, with only 23 hours on it. It comes with all accessories, original box, manual, etc. I am asking $2700 (shipping included). Let me know if you are interested.

I've manage to wrangle an eBay auction away from the snipers, so my search for a DVX100a is complete! Thanks to all who offered me their own -- I'm sure you'll sell them for more than I paid for this one. I hope.
