Just got my dvx100a on ebay and it came with everything but the manual. Anyone have an extra copy by chance or is this something I can get pretty cheap from panasonic?

thanks

Whoa, the manuals used to be up on the Panasonic page. I was gonna make a joke that you could buy mine, or go there for free. But you can't go there no mo' I guess. Sorry.

actually, after I inspected the camera alittl emoer, I have a dvx100, not the dvx100a which I thought I was buying. So I guess Im looking for a regular dvx100 manual, sorry yorlov, I appreciate it. Im not sure what Im gonna do with the camera now, because if I ask for a refund, I'll lose almost 200 in paypal fees and shipping, what a headache...

Oh man, bummer. I wish we had gotten to you sooner. Coulda told you all about those ebay scams. The original dvx100 is still a formidable camera, so I'd say, cut your losses, read Barry's book (it'll be more helpful than the manual anyway), and go shoot as much as you can. Good luck.

I think this one was an honest mistake. The lady was selling it for her dad and her dad said it was an A model and yeah. The chick seems down to do whatever i wanna do to rectify the situation, Im just not sure if I'll deal with sending it back and losing money on paypal fees. So yeah, I just might keep it.

Well if you want to split hairs, I think you have every right to ask for those paypal fees. Perhaps others will disagree, but if the camera was mislabeled on ebay then the seller should be held responsible IMO. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
