greeches, you can get a brand new one for $300 or even less. Frys electronics had a sale a while back for a 3ccd panasonic camera for $500 bucks. I'm sure you can find a minidv for less than $300 brand new. but if someone here is selling one for $50 bucks let me know.

hehe, 50$ is what I'm talkin about. I have two broken miniDVs, a JVC 507U, and a Sony TRV17. THe JVC has a "protection mode" error and won't do anything, and the Sony's eject function is busted, but still works as a dubbing to Firewire device. I don't think either are worth repairing tho. What you think?
