WTB Canon 18mm-135mm lens or similar

[MikeWilkinson]

Make an offer. Did you buy a kit and not need the lens? Sell it to me

[zobtron]

I have a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM that was the kit lens with the 40d. I still use the lens but recently bought a tamron.

The lens is in excellent condition and has always had a uv filter. The current price on the BH website is about $400.

How does $300 shipping included sound? Add 3% if using paypal.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like pix.

thanks

I will keep this in mind if a 18-135 doesn't come up, thanks for the offer.

Still looking for a better deal than ebay...

[sk8orinda]

I have a half-descent one. 28-135 3.5-5.6 canon lens. It's the full frame one made for the EOS film series. The glass is in good shape. Some cosmetic wear, but nothing too dramatic. fast AF, good steady shot. There is some dust inside the front element, but it's completely invisable in any picture-- I've never seen anything in my images...

I'll post some pictures if you have any interest... How does 200 shipped sound?

[sk8orinda]

It's this exact same lens, but I don't have the lens hood.

That's a great offer, but after testing out lenses at 28mm, I'm pretty much prepared to spend the extra money for the wider lens. Thanks.
