I bought a Rode NTG-1 and so now I need to complete my audio setup.

I am looking for the following:
-Juicedlink CX231 (Or similar preamps that supply phantom power)
-Boom Pole (Anything goes here really, just preferably under $150)
-XLR Cable (Will only buy if packaged with either of above)

Look into getting a Rode or Gitzo Boom Pole. They have some that can be easily bought new for less than 150 or right at 150 depending on the size you get.

Update: I picked up a boom pole. Now I am just looking for a cx231 and a shock mount for the pole. Thanks.

I haven't really done my research, but any shock mount really that will give good results and mount to a boom.
 
Just bought this:

What is pictured is what I get. Will this mount to the boom pole. I know it is missing the bottom portion for the hot shoe. Do I need to buy that piece to mount it to the pole or not?
