i have a Tamrac Aero Speed Pack 85. it holds my macbook pro17, nikon d200, 2 lenses, vert handle, batteries, card readers, mouse, charger, cables, and still has a ton of room left.

at MSRP of $140 you're not really going to save a ton of money going used. i say buy new and save yourself heartache.

I'd google Streetwalker Pro HardDrive, sells for around $180, definitely carry-on approved, I haven't seen any reviews though, as this model is relatively new. Think Tank sells it.
