WTB: Any Tripod That Will Hold Teleprompter

I have A Manfrotto with Bogen 501 head and the teleprompter setup is too heavy; it slips, no matter how tight. I have weights on the back now, but it's probably not good for that weak little head. Very unstable and if it crashes I'm doomed.

Please message me if you have a stronger 75mm head or comparable setup that will hold around 20lbs or any ideas for me :)

Hi David,

I'm using 503 heads with my two 15 inch PrompterPeople teleprompters and 10 pound Canon XL2's. Once they are balanced (fulcrum point), they're very steady even without much of any tightening.

I have a Bogen/Manfrotto 3057 head, which is rated to 21 pounds... I'd like to get $130 for it (includes US shipping).

Yes- this is mainly for still photography, but I figured you were looking for something beefy to hold up a monitor... I have a set of 3236 legs in case you're looking for a whole package. The 3236 & the 3057 would hold up just about anything you would put on them.
 
Thanks for the reply. I kinda like what I'm hearing about the 3066, but I would need the entire package because it fits a 100mm bowl... I think.
