wtb: ag-dvc30 EQUIPMENT only

Looking for:

-2 batteries
(preferably bigger than 5 hours)

-XLR converter box and shotgun mic
(I bought this and then realized I am going to need to fork out all that cash... so I'm trying to find the BEST alternative. Any ideas??? Something less than $200 for both?)

-A light.... Anyone know where they attatch? I feel like its going to get crowded up there after an XLR box and mic comes in!
 
and I can vouch for Peter, I bought his kit. And he was very patient with my questions :-)
 
Ok... I will think about it. I am not the one paying for it- it's thru a football program budget. On top of that though, I would need the XLR converter box though. What converter boxes are compatable with your shotgun? After we add that price in, I will get back to you about your shotgun- but interested. Thanks!
 
Just to add to what ddp said - if you don't want to go with the mini-jack method and need xlr, one alternative is a beachtek adapter. (converts a mini-jack to xlr) It is not a whole lot cheaper than the dvc 30 adapter, but may be easier to find.

I have not used them, but I have heard they will work great with the dvc-30.

Oh, and I have bought some batteries off of ebay for about 25 each. The dvx100 batteries are the same thing, so you can search on that too.
