In the market for a 17mm Canon FD f/4 prime in good shape. I don't care about cosmetics really, but I need clean glass, oil-free aperture and a smooth focus ring without play. I'd like to use it for video as well as stills.

Maybe you have one lying about not getting used?

Prefer a US seller, but will consider buying abroad.

TY for consideration

Ty Sir,

Having some mixed results with keh, just bought a bgn FD 20mm 2.8 which had a VERY loose focus ring and stiff turn. They are nice and I'm sending it back, but the idea that keh bgn is ebay mint is just not my experience lately. I did get a 55mm fl 1.2 from keh, bgn, which I will keep, has lots of nicks on the body, but the glass is clean etc. I'd prefer to forgo the hassle and shipping cost of returns.

Alot of sellers on E are concerned about their feedback. The only lens I bought there recently which was not as described was a FD 35 f/2 I won in an auction. It worked fine, but was well used--though described as "very good". The seller refunded me 30USD on the price in return for 5 stars feedback.

Just hoping to find somebody who wants to save time and sales commision involved with evilbay or dealing with a reseller.

How much dust is on that old 17 in your closet?
