wrong scene

ok so I messed up,
we're shooting a short in progressive and last night I shot a whole scene with progressive switched off....

It's a PAL camera which I assume is going to help, but is there anyway to help the footage look less like video at this point? stripping out frames? deinterlacing?

Ive heard people creating a 24fps look using old video cameras through some sort of process.

any help you could provide would be amazing thanks guys,

Adam Powell.

If this has been covered could someone pop me a link?

or a search keyword, searching this place is like looking for a noodle in a hatstand.

I know im an idiot for shooting the wrong scene.....but any help you could provide before I go out and shoot again would be brilliant...

the silence is killing me. ;)

You mean you shot some 25p progressive and some 25p non progressive? Im not familiar with the options on the PAL cam.

There are plugins for NLEs, and standalone apps that'll make interlaced more "filmlike" (progressive).

But...I'm not a PAL person, so I don't know what what works with what.

Thanks so much guys......

Looking at the options I think the producer wants to re-shoot....bit of a pain..but maybe It will be better this time around :)
