Writer avail

Have a script titled 'No Free Lunch'.

No dialogue in this 6 pager. 5 characters, 4 locations.

A local Mayor uses the help of townsfolk to clean up the streets. One family's motto 'A family that slays together, stays together' have a deadly and efficient routine - until the Mayor's email is hacked. The ensuing slaughter leads to the birth of a slasher.

PM if interested for a read.

No dialogue? Interesting -- that ties in with another thread running here, where a couple of us extol on just how much easier, faster, and less expensive it is to shoot without recording sound. I haven't read it, but I would think someone would snatch this up pretty quickly.

I like to dabble in the no-dialogue from time to time. Might try a feature at some point.

I have a 'talkie' avail as well. 'In Loving Memory', about a Goth chick coming back for revenge after her murder.

My Dad said, "If you want the Moon, shoot for the Stars." (Don't know where he got it, but it is a good saying), so....I am nervously asking YOU, Alex: If I have a pretty specific idea for a story, what is the best way to prepare it for your consideration?

Sorry for the newbie question, but why not ask an expert rather than the guy across the street. Love your work.

Sounds like something I'd love to watch. really cool idea. Too bad you're not actually working on getting this one made, Would love to put music to something like this, especially since there is no dialogue!

Cheers!

Holding my breath someone picks it up. Music will certainly be essential.

I have another no-dialogue short. 2 pages, about a blind girl who works cleaning a wood shop, and accidently turns on a power saw that gets a life of its own. Titled 'A Dangerous Dance'.

Well.. I'm a huge slasher/horror fan. I'm hoping to be able to prove I'm worth the chance when it comes to music.

As October looms, I think things will move into panic mode. I usually shy away from horror, so I'd have to say mine are horror-lite.

Okay, so the three I have so far ...

Rain Dogs - 8 pages
Period short about a war victim that come back decades later for some serious revenge.

The Key - 6 pages

Tired of the same 'ol Zombie fare? Had your fill of ghosts and gobblins and general audience mayhem? With a Whitmer script you get a fresh, clean baste. It slices and dices and keeps blood fresh for weeks.

New script: 'Breathless' A mute girl wants to be a singer. To do so, she'll need to steal someone else's voice.

No dialogue other than the singing.
