Dear All,

http://vimeo.com/10756057

This experimental film was shot during the first day of the WRC 2010 in Jordan as a test drive for the video capabilities of the Canon HD-DSLR, it was shot at 25P with the Canon 5D Mark II on which the latest firmware update Version 2.0.4 was installed, no color grading was involved in this cut to demonstrate the camera's capabilities without any manipulation.

That last slow motion was absolutely brilliant. Read the comments for the summary of the technique - gonna have to try that sometime! Lucky that there is so much sun there, 1/4000th at f2.8 ISO100 is pretty crazy! I'm going to have to try this Twixtor plugin, it sounds good, and from your results it looks even better!

I think with some grading the footage could look even better - just to cool down some of the road footage a little.

Great video. my one critique is that dutch can be good, but not 100% of the time. Use it with method and purpose.
