Assignment
[FONT=&quot]In groups of 3 or 4[/FONT][FONT=&quot] - Create a 90 second film edited to the style of one of the following options. [/FONT]

  • [FONT=&quot]Action[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Mood (eg. Romance, Horror, comedy)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Note: This should be a segment from the middle of a mock film, not a story from start to finish[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The edited film must be 90 seconds exactly. Any below or above and marks may be deducted.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]All visual material must be original. (No ripped DVD or downloaded internet footage).[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]There must be NO dialogue. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]All audio should be copyright free or original – eg. Personally composed music, Foley sound effects.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The use of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, 3D software etc. is permitted to enhance the look of the film.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]It must demonstrate a broad understanding of professional editing tools using Avid Xpress.

I'm not quite sure what happened at the end and why the guy just turned around? I'm assuming he got infected but that didn't come off so well. The other guy didn't try to run and it would have been nice to really show that he was trapped by having more zombies try to come through the other door. Maybe a close up or two of him cowering as well.

Loved the overhead shot and the shot of the zombies coming through the door.

Nice job considering the time allotted.
