Not much there yet. But the narration is nearly verbatim from the book. Good sign.

Very promising. Cant wait. Who says Hollywood doesnt do cool films?
Tim Robbins is 'out billed' by Dakota Fanning?
"They're already here..." Very lame tag

If they follow the book, as the narration suggests they might, "they're already here" makes no sense whatsoever.

Anybody here see the miniseries Taken? It was exec produced by Spielberg and Dakota Fanning is in it. Not a bad miniseries, but it had its weak spots. WOW actually reminds me of it a little bit. This is looking very promising.

Wait wait wait wait wait....
When did we get too cool for first names????
Sheesh. I need to read the book first.
Doesn't do it for me...
Now I never read LOTR, but seeing that trailer online in '99 made me bite my nails in giddy anticipation.
I'm not giddy, guys.

If this movie doesn't kick-ass, I'm gonna write a letter of complaint to Dreamworks:
Dear Mr. Katsenburg,
I was very disappointed to find that upon viewing War of the Worlds, it did not kick-ass. If you could forward this note onto Mr. Spielberg so he can recitfy the situation, I'd be most grateful.
Yours, etc.
Andy.
