A very impressive stop-motion music video that uses 288,000 jelly beans, 1 year of filming, and a very patient musician and video crew. The song is kind of catchy too.

If you're curious how they did it then check out the Making of Video. Pretty cool. Even if you don't like the music you've gotta appreciate the work they put into the video.

I searched to see if this was already posted but couldn't find anything. Maybe Pookie posted-it but named it something weird.

Meh, that's aight, but ... I gotta vote for the original ... Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer. Think about it, folks: this was done twenty-five years ago. All physical stop motion, with him posing for each and every frame...

Wow, it is not my habit to comment to say nothing, but it's probably the best music video i've ever seen.
I was just one year old when it was released... but the more i grow, the more i love the eighties !

Peter Gabriel's Big Time is no slouch either. The clay cross-section sequences are especially fascinating.

But....you gotta give extra points to the jelly bean video - Peter Gabriel's not drop-dead-cute.

Yes, Sledgehammer was an instant classic but there's no "making of" companion video posted here as with Kirk's post. Winner for this round: Kirk Gillock. :)

Wow... I can't believe it! I thought for sure Sledgehammer was going to win. ...Thank you. Thank you very much!! ....I'm KING OF THE WORLD!!! [walks the wrong way off the stage]

Someone from our office was one of the animators on the jellybean music video. Such a task takes epic patience. I would note that this video also has some "crane shots" and rotating pedestal images that are really quite impressive when you stop to think what it would take to make them happen.

I couldn't of done this. I would be constantly eating the background. "Hey, we need more green jelly beans. I have no idea where they are going."

I saw this on set last night. Pretty cool.

Very impressive stuff. That singer has a nice voice too. I wouldn't be surprised to see her go far with her music career (I've never heard of her before this jellybean video, so maybe she already is pretty well known).

I'm going to go out on a limb here and take a wild guess that somebody involved with the making of that video likes jelly beans.

Maybe they can do another one in this same style but with gummy worms? Or Swedish Fish?

Wow Very cool video. I do remember watching the Peter Gabriel video on MTV when MTV was.... well... Music Television.
