Would my HMC fit into this backpack?

I don't own one, but the interior dimensions show a 5.3" depth (if I am reading it right). The HMC is a little over 6" in both height and width, so I would say no. Lowepro is known for quality packs and if this one doesn't work, they have others that would.

I use the Kata HD-207 (roughly the same price), which is what I am using in comparison to size up the one you mentioned. It does hold all of the HMC and HV30 stuff, along with mics, headphones, etc. It would even hold my 17" laptop, but it starts to get heavier than I'd like when I put it in. Its amazingly comfortable to wear.

Shoot...there's a premo deal on ebay for this right now. So 5.3 vs .7"+ difference, I wonder if I could stretch it just a little, couldn't tell unless I tried I suppose. Ugh, such a dilemma. The reason I'm so set on this one is cause I just dropped huge money on the HMC, gotta pinch pennies anyway I can now.

YES.. This will more than handle your 150. This is the bag I used with my HVX and accessories. It's a great bag and I use it all the time... It's been with me around the world.. Great protection.. comfy to carry and will fit on airplanes.

I have the CompuTrekker AW.. my HMC is coming tomorrow. I too will be transporting it along with the HV30..

What I would prefer is a roller case.. because I want as little weight to be on my body as possible. My travel would involve traveling from the plane's overhead to a rental car and the usual wedding venues travel once I arrive at my destination...

You guys don't feel like the hmc is too tall for that bag? I have one and when zipping it up I feel like there might be too much pressure on the camera.

i think you should all do yourselves a favor and purchase the OGIO Ty 2 bag. It fits my HMC150, fisheye lens, on camera light, batteries, accessories, SDHC cards, chargers and cleaning supplies, and still has room for a laptop, other pockets, a tripod, and has a lot more room. New, i think they're like $150.

I got one too because they are so much cheaper; but it holds a ton of gear I forget how much stuff I have tucked away in mine.

i have one, and i was able to fit my dvx100b, fisheye, bescor light, batteries, Nikon D70, lens and a bunch more and still had room.

It will fit fine for sure. I'd take a pic but that bag is with a friend now. The lowepro is more than big enough for the 150 and gear. Another bag I love is the Kata bag.. They just have the nicest interiors of any bag I've ever seen.. almost so comfy you would want to fall asleep in it and it comes with tons and tons of extra padding and compartments.

I would never do that... I would also recommend doing some hometown shopping. Go to your local camera store.. try it out there.. make sure it's what you want.. and then order it online for cheaper.. unless you need it right then and there.

I love my lowepro and it was worth the 180 I paid for it 4 years ago. I now have a couple of Kata bags that I use when I'm carring more gear. The lowepro is cool as it can handle your laptop and a bunch of other stuff. I would almost think that there's enough room to fit two 150's in there..

Has anyone used Lowepro's lifetime warranty service? I've heard good things about it.. some guy on another forum was able to exchange his lowepro with a torn stitching for a brandnew bag.

I never heard of the OGIO Ty 2. Thanks. I was looking into a Kata but I think for the price I'm gonna give this a shot for my hmc150, batteries, ect. and hopefully laptop and lens adapter too.
