Worth risking not getting a hackable camera?

I was about to buy one of these, but can you even get one thats hackable now? I was looking on ebay, and there are quite a few vendors. I was wondering if there was any way to know before buying if it can be hacked.

Yes, look at serial thread in proper sub-forum.

Also, just ask the Ebayer if it's version 1.2 or less. Unless the box is sealed most sellers will go to the effort of checking the version for you. I've just bought a couple this way.

Some listings are even starting to promote the fact that they are selling a Ver 1.2 body!
