is it worth buying so early? I mean why not wait till someone gets it. let them spend their money while you get to hear how it works/see it in action. and hear if any problems and what kind of problems it may/will have.
Good idea, unless you have a project for which you have to start shooting, say, in late January or early February. To secure your timely purchase you have to order your camera by early December latest. So there's not much time left in these cases to investigate.
