Shot over two days on a near zero budget (what budget we had was spent in the pub on the first night :-)). The video was produced for Thame Town Council and Thame Museum as part of their World War One centenary commemorations.
I used a Panasonic AF-101 and a GH3 (for stills used in compositing the battlefield scenes). Lenses used were a Voigtlander 25, Samyang (Rokinon) 85, Lumix 45 and Tokina 11-16. Post was done in Vegas, Photoshop and Cakewalk Sonar for the music.

There's also a very short video showing the before and after of a couple of shots. http://youtu.be/2mYqQNKLJew

This was my first crack at a project like this and was way outside of my usual comfort zone of corporates! Great fun to make and I learned a lot from the experience.

Impressive- the overhead shot with the rain and the hill transformation looked fantastic. Hard to believe you had no money to make it.

Thanks Ed. As you'll see I've had to take the video down for a few days. Hopefully be back up on Tuesday.

Many thanks for the kind comments. I guess I should clear up the 'near-zero budge' statement. In terms of budget allocated for the actual production there was none. THe uniform was sourced by the museum and the military artefacts were supplied by a local person. The locations were either public or freely offered. All the equipment is owned by me, including the big jib used for the overhead shot. The rain was mostly from watering cans with a bit of CGI thrown in for good measure (don't look too closely!). I did receive a modest payment for my time and I paid the actors from that and used the balance on travel, accommodation and subsistence. So, in reality there was a budget, just not for the actual production.
